COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - This is Moose and he is your Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region!
Moose is a seven-year-old black German Shepherd mix.
He’s a lovely boy looking for a calm home to live out his golden years. Moose loves to play fetch, enjoys treats, and takes naps like a champ.
He’s been around children, but will do best with kids who are 10 years old and older who know how to respect his boundaries.
He has lived with another larger and older dog, but is very uncomfortable with new dogs, so he may do best as an only dog. He has lived with cats and enjoys chasing them from time to time. He’ll need slow introductions with new roommates.
Moose is potty trained, but not used to crates, so a little patience with his training will be helpful.
Moose’s adoption fee is $99, and he will go home with his vaccinations, a voucher for a vet exam, a microchip, and he’s neutered. You can see all the other dogs, cats, and small animals available for adoption at HSPPR.org or stop by the shelter at 610 Abbot Lane to visit Moose today.
